J. W. Foster Enterprises Limited is a company incorporated in January of 1986 to operate a gift shop at The Prince George Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our mandate at that time was to open a chain of gift shops specializing in the tourist industry. Since 1986 we have grown to include 5 locations under the banner Travelstop Gift Shoppes. The other locations are The Citadel Inn, The Holiday Inn Select, Halifax Center, The Holiday Inn Harbour View Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Spring Garden Place in Halifax (sold Feb 2002). We continue to search for new locations in an effort to see continued growth in the future.
